Learners will be taught important commands, how to set up and configure Linux, and how to keep systems safe. By the end of the course, learners will be prepared for the CompTIA Linux+ certification exam. Linux is an operating system like Windows or macOS, but it is widely used for servers, cybersecurity, and cloud computing because of its flexibility and security.

The CompTIA Linux+ exam has a duration of 90 minutes and consists of up to 90 questions in multiple-choice and performance-based formats. You will require access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Microsoft Windows (the most recent version is Windows 11) or MacOS (the most recent version is Sonoma). No specific software is needed for this course. Although the tutor may recommend the use of free or trial tools.
