This course provides learners with fundamental skills in HTML and CSS, focusing on web page creation, styling, and responsive design. Learners will master the building blocks of web development, and after completing the course, can register for an exam to gain the ITS HTML & CSS certification.

The IT Specialist in HTML and CSS (ITS – 301) exam is conducted online and lasts for approximately 50 minutes. The exam's questions are all multiple-choice and the pass mark for the exam is 70%. As this is a closed book exam, course materials may not be used during the exam.
You will require access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Microsoft Windows (the most recent version is Windows 11).
You will require a text or code editor, as well as various different web browser applicatons in order to test your code. These can all be sourced freely and your tutor can provide further information you should need help downloading these.
