Description

This course is designed for learners who want to acquire the fundamental knowledge needed to work with data sets and perform statistical analysis. Data analytics are used in nearly every organization, from sales to production and logistics. Analysing this data enables organizations to operate more effectively and make informed decisions.

Learning Outcomes

By completing this course you will be able to:

 

  • Use common statistical methods to analyse data
  • Understand statistical functions
  • Use pivot tables in aid of data analysis
  • Understand the basics of Microsoft Power BI, an interactive data visualization software

 

By successfully passing the exam at the end of the course, you will also achieve a Certificate in Data Analytics - Foundation, an industry recognised qualification certified by ICDL.

Exams are taken online and are 45 minutes in duration. There are 32-39 questions with a pass mark of 75%.

You will require access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Microsoft Windows (the most recent version is Windows 11). MacOS systems cannot be used for this course.
