Description

This course introduces learners to the Internet of Things (IoT), which extends Internet connectivity beyond computers to other physical devices. IoT devices allow organizations across various industries to boost productivity and streamline operations. This course is aimed at anyone who wants to understand how interconnected devices work and how this interconnectivity can lead to more convenient and efficient processes in both workplace and personal settings.

Learning Outcomes

By completing this course you will be able to:

  • Cite examples of IoT usage scenarios in the workplace

By successfully passing the exam at the end of the course, you will also achieve an ICDL Certificate in Internet of Things (IoT), an industry recognised qualification certified by ICDL.

Exams are taken online and are 45 minutes in duration. There are 32-39 questions with a pass mark of 75%.

You will require access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Microsoft Windows (the most recent version is Windows 11). MacOS systems cannot be used for this course.
