Description

This course is designed for learners who want to develop skills in digital marketing. It is suitable for learners from various backgrounds and is particularly relevant for those currently working or planning to work in roles that require expertise in image and web editing, eCommerce, or general digital marketing.

Learning Outcomes

By completing this course you will be able to:

 

  • Edit images for the purpose of printed or online media
  • Define the core concepts and techniques of digital marketing and understand what goes into a marketing campaign
  • Register a web domain, set up a website, and maintain it using web authoring software
  • Select an appropriate e-commerce solution and understand how to plan, implement, manage and maintain it

 

By successfully passing the exam at the end of the course, you will also achieve a Certificate in Digital Design & Marketing Essentials, an industry recognised qualification certified by ICDL.

What is the exam like on this course?

Exams are taken online and are 45 minutes in duration. The exam contains three question types - multiple-choice, drag and drop, and task based. The exam is a closed book exam, so course materials may not be used during the exam. The pass mark for the exam is 75%.

Do I need specific hardware or software?

You will require access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Microsoft Windows (the most recent version is Windows 11). MacOS systems cannot be used for this course.
