This course requires a degree of familiarity with the Windows operating system and you should have some basic knowledge of Windows Server, Windows-based networking, Active Directory, anti-malware products, firewalls, network topologies and devices. If you need to learn these fundamentals first, our IT Specialist in Networking course may be a good starting point for you.

The IT Specialist in Network Security (ITS-102) exam is conducted online and lasts approximately 50 minutes. The exam has between 35 - 45 questions and has a pass mark of 70%. The exam is a closed book exam, so course materials may not be used during the exam.
You will require access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Microsoft Windows (the most recent version is Windows 11).
No specific software is required for this course.
