Description

This online course equips learners with the essential skills and knowledge for data analysis and visualization using Power BI. You will explore the core concepts of Power BI, gain hands-on experience with its tools, and engage in practical webinars for collaborative learning. By the end of the course, you will have a solid foundation in Power BI fundamentals, experience in data manipulation and visualization, and the ability to apply your skills in your own projects.

By completing this course you will be able to:

  • Use Power BI tools for data importing and transformation. 
  • Create visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI.

This is an intermediate level course and previous knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Access, would be beneficial for learners hoping to take this course.

What is the exam like on this course?

This course does not have a formal exam at the end of the course, however you will be provided with a Certificate of Completion upon your successful completion of all course content.

Do I need specific hardware or software?

You will require access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Microsoft Windows (the most recent version is Windows 11).  

You may need to install the software applet for the required webinar software.  

Participants will be advised how to access a free trial of Microsoft Power BI for the duration of the course.
