Description

This course provides learners with foundational skills in cybersecurity, focusing on threat analysis, system vulnerabilities, and security protocols. Learners will develop critical knowledge to protect digital assets and prepare for entry-level cybersecurity roles. After completing the course, can register for an exam to gain certification in cybersecurity from Cisco.

By completing this course you will be able to:

By successfully passing the exam at the end of the course, you will also achieve a Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Cybersecurity Certificate, an industry recognised qualification certified by Cisco.

What is the exam like on this course?

This exam for this course is fully online and is proctored. The exam duration is 50 minutes with 35-50 questions. 

Do I need specific hardware or software?

You will require access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Microsoft Windows (the most recent version is Windows 11) or MacOS (the most recent version is Sonoma).

The tutor may advise the downloading and installing of additional free or open-source applications throughout the course.
