Learners are required to have completed the IT Specialist in Databases or the ICDL Data Analytics certification or equivalent. If you do not have this qualification but have prior industry experience in data analytics and/or database administration, then this may be considered enough prerequisite experience to take the course.

The exam is taken online and is 90 minutes in duration. There are up to 90 questions with a pass mark of 675 (on a scale of 100-900).
